Next stage - the editing process

Our group of five young writers have done a first draft each. We read one example of a story about a King Parrot who became a young boy's cherished pet after being rescued by the RSPCA. After some editing, we hope to be able to publish the stories here, or in the anthology our group plans to print this year. The Noosa Young Writers' Group meets after school on Thursdays at Noosa Library. Give us a call if you are interested in joining us. Or send an email to wllcpark@yahoo.com.au

Wildlife Rescue - writers' workshop

Using books available, and from our own experience, our group has chosen an Australian animal that lives in our area. Koalas, Echidna, Firefly, and King Parrot. Our stories will revolve around an environmental challenge, such as fire, clood, feral animals, or other. Watch for our exciting stories about how our wildlife can be helped to survive.
