Crime Busters workshop

We have just had the most fantastic crime solving workshop at the library. Twenty young detectives in four teams worked together to solve the most heinous crime in the library - the theft of the Great Book of All Answers from the locked cabinet of precious items. Following clues, checking fingerprints and footprints, and interviewing suspects, the group managed to crack the crime and apprehend the criminal. Now, the task is to write a story (in 500 words or fewer) based on the workshop experience. The best will be published here, and one winner will receive a book prize.
